This video introduced me to TNP. Field of Reeds is a stunningly produced artistic endeavour. Tottaly absorbed from first bar of the apropriately titled : "The Way I Do" but only because "My Head Feels Like That" was already taken (you can credit this segway to trustees of Bacharach et al ). First impressions imbibe Robert Wyatt, notably: Comicopera (2007), Jan Steele-John Cage – Voices and Instruments (1976), Rock Bottom (1974) and Theo Bleckmann's Hello Earth (2011) and a Peter Gabriel track on US (2002) with a seemles mix of the Black Dyke Band. Gun Stuff

Amazing list man! Absolutely love your channel and selections. I have discovered a lot of new artists from you. Keep up the great work. Much love from India. I would have just added "Hand. Cannot. Erase." by Steven Wilson, "The joy of motion" by Animals as Leaders and "Culture Clash" by the Aristrocrats.

This channel might be good if he'd play selections from the albums instead of just bombarding us with title and descriptions like fuck…even just the max amount you can play and still monetize the video like wtf

Just here to say I’ve had to slowly dip my toes into that Joanna Newsom album for over a year before it started to reveal its beauty to me, it’s an unbelievable statement

Glad to see Sunbather, easily one of my favorite albums of all time.
Glad to see Converge, my favorite band. For the 2010s I slightly prefer The Dusk In Us but AWLWLB is amazing too.
    TPAB is awesome of course.
    Where's Daughters??

I'm disappointed there is no prog rock/metal, Earthside's debut album is a masterpiece, Tesseract's 2 first albums are ground breaking, any of Caligula's Horse albums could be here, Polyphia has created their own style really and it's amazing, could easily make it here, Haken's Vision is great too, Leprous has some albums that could make it (for me it's Coil or Malina), Thank You Scientist's first album and many others..

Little Surprised With The Absence of You Won't Get What You Want by Daughters. That was some excellent Noise Rock. Missing Eternal Forward Motion and Macro. Those two were the most promising metal albums of this decade!
