Varjo is a dream <3 the problem is that here in Italy we'll never be able to buy it. It costs a kidney and a leg :'( The fact that 5K in US is like 3-4 times abroad is insane :'( Just the headset with no accessory is 3-4 of my salaries, then there's the subscription…

Can't wait for this tech. Vive Pro 1 still has too much screen door. I won't ever support Meta, so here's hoping for next year. Maybe Index 2 or Vive Pro 2 or something else but it's got to support Steam VR tracking since I use Full Body Trackers.

An entire generation of people are going to gradually abandon reality and live entirely in VR, that's what I think is going to happen. Ready Player One called it.

I cannot wait to see your review comparing Pimax 12K and Varjo Aero. If you compare where VR tech is and how 3D graphics on games evolved – I would say we are still in the pre-Nvidia days of VR. I bought a VR headset just to see what the fuss is about – really like it. but, i am mostly out of this space until the next revolution. I am personally looking for a device that at least tries to solve the vergence & accommodation conflict in VR.

What is the round thing attached to the side of the left ear on the Sennheiser Headphones? Is this for a mic or something? It's certainly not factory installed. Thanks for the video and I'll check out Thrill’s in depth look.

Very minimal screendoor like i have on my samsung odyssey v1 helps to create for clarity i think. It gives the impression of better resolution. The image with my samsung are superb in fs2020. Also the screen glasses are amoled so there is nesrly no glare and great black and no distortion and still 110 fov

Just imagine: We have this already in some headsets, so just think about where VR is going to be in say ten years time when we have retina resolution, around 220 degrees field of view, 200Hz+, large sweet spots, no God rays, high quality built-in full 360 degree 3D positional audio, eye tracking for foveated rendering, in smaller and lighter standalone headsets, etc. . . .

I love the clarity of the resolution and would love to get this headset. My only concern hardware-wise is that awful placement of the headphone jack on the side. Just watching this video with the tangle of cables hanging in the front and that extra inch of unusable airspace on the left side kind of makes me cringe. Thankfully, my headphones have a 90 degree angle connector, which would cut down on the problem. I would have to figure out a way to velcro the cables together for this to not bother me. I’m sure I could do it though.

I swear this is so exciting, I remember when I first tried the google cardboard in school (which is kinda bad because you couldn't move but still). VR is getting insane and everyday we are getting closer to ready player one being real, lets just hope we don't have to live in stacked trailers.

On a side note do you bleach (or otherwise lighten) your hair? Were your eyebrows always so contrastingly darker than your hair or did you change something recently?
