This is very similar to what Robert Sapolsky at Harvard states in a recent book/paper….there is no free will. There’s an illusion of such but all decisions are based upon the experiences and individual has had up to the point of any ‘choice’.
Philosophers who don't believe in "free will" presumably accept that is a belief in which they have no choice; slaves to the deterministic interactions of molecules. No matter how you reduce it, you run into a paradox or contradiction at some point …..
I have always been enamored by causality and it's paradoxical ties with free will, since I learned about it in college. It's such a great way to explain nature
spinosa ethics & human bondage summary & more in 11 minutes, who dosn't have something to say about it good book & figured that was his intent all along
There is nothing like “we “ getting better. The world remains as it is with all its dogmas. Perhaps his thoughts help an individual already in that state of mind.
its amazing how through logic, this ex-Jewish mid-centuries Philosopher could reach that much verses Written in the Holy Quraan. literally, a lot of what was said in this video are written verses in the Holy Quraan. I wonder if he'd read the Holy Quraan at some point in his life.
so baruch Spinoza said that we purcieve our world by the five senses but that is very limited and of. course there's infinite things that we don't see and he was working in lenses and I guess that's broaden his world and he was saying that a man should operate act or take decisions from his inner soul and not being influenced by cosality which mean effect and result or cause and effect and the third he admire the intuition as a higher intelligence and about the sapreem power of the universe he said that we are part of the univers he said that God is the nature and of course we are also the nature by the way in Hebrew the words God and nature are equal in numerical numbers and it's 86 and there's one more strange thing left to jot down here that there's is a city in Israel cold kfar sava and it's the only city all over the world that fit the word the masaya I mean when you calculate the words kfar sava and the masaya in Hebrew this tow words are equal in numbers and the number of each word is 363 each word wich mean they're equal in number I don't now why I started to talk about Spinoza and jump to gimatria and the Kabala of the jues anyway once I was thinking that mesaya will come from Israel and of course from my city kfar sava

Ah yes… when the careless somehow accomplished more… I'll show you how little I give a hoot!
Why would something talk to everyone like they know ya, call the cops on ya, and when you're walking away try to shoot ya?
Mustn't mean a thing at all, I will fall in love just to fall, as I change my mind how I thought.
I could make all of life, feel alright, if I trust in my might.

If we have no will, we can not "choose." We ca not "attain". We can not " make decisions."
Just saying…not that I can. 😅

Sadly, the speed of the narrative dramatically diminishes the potency of the words. Powerful sentiments need a little more time for proper reflection.
